Tree Roots in Sewer Lines: A Fort Worth Homeowner's Guide
Why roots find your pipe
Clay-tile joints leak a little moisture and nutrients. In drought-stressed North Texas summers, roots follow that vapor straight into the joint.
Cutting is temporary
Mechanical root cutting or hydro-jetting clears the line, but roots grow back through the same joints, often thicker, within a year or two.
Sealing the joints
CIPP lining removes the joints entirely, which is the only permanent fix short of replacement.
When you're ready for a definitive answer, schedule lining the pipe to seal out roots or call 817-518-0414.
